Nantes, a European city in France
Nantes, a regional capital, is one of France's largest cities with almost 600,000 inhabitants; it is just two hours from Paris by high-speed train and near the beaches and fishing ports of the Atlantic coast. There are daily direct flights from Nantes to Brussels, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, and Munich.
The Audencia campus
Audencia has a modern, spacious and well-equipped campus in the university district of Nantes and within easy reach of the city centre via the tram network. The library (15,000 references and databases, 500 French and English language journals) is open 6 days a week and the computer rooms have 24 hour access.
Students are able to eat on campus at the school's cafeteria. Sports facilities include a gymnasium with badminton, basketball and tennis as well as a fitness centre. 30 student clubs focusing on business, finance, sport, music, culture, humanitarian aid or international issues are housed on campus.
Nantes is a beautiful and vibrant city, with a student population from across the globe.
I chose to live with a host family and this has given me a unique insight into the French lifestyle.
I play on the badminton team which not only helps to balance my life but also gives me a chance to socialize with students from Audencia and elsewhere.
